I’m very excited to be coming to Glasgow Comic Con to exhibit and give a talk on the Gorbals Vampire Incident that inspired The Children’s Vampire Hunting Brigade while I do research for the third and final graphic novel in the series: All Soul’s Day. I’ll be at Booth S20 in Strathclyde Hall on July 2nd and 3rd all day, and I’ll be giving my presentation on the 3rd from 11:30-12 (in the Wee Room, Level AKA the workshop space) See below:
I’m super excited to be a part of the MASSIVE signing we have happening for Winter Horror Days this Sunday January 10th at Dark Delicacies in Burbank from 2-4 pm. 23 out of 24 of the authors including heavy hitters like David Gerrold, Lisa Morton, and Robert Payne Cabeen will all be there. It’s a charity event to benefit the Horror Writer’s Association Hardship Fund, so spread the word and come on down! Here’s a fun video I put together that I think captures the essence of Winter Horror Days!
Here’s a new project I’m proud to be involved with, the profits of which go to The Horror Writer’s Association Hardship Fund. Winter Horror Days is a winter holiday themed horror anthology published by Omnium Gatherum Media. I was lucky enough to be able to work as the editor on this project, write the introduction, and have a story in it. It also features work by David Gerrold (who wrote “The Trouble with Tribbles,”and Land of the Lost), Lisa Morton, Robert Payne Cabeen, and a host of other very talented writers.
You can order it in paperback or for Kindle from Amazon here.
Here’s the back cover copy:
As you sit warm and cozy in your chair by the fire, comforted by the pretty lights and decorations of your holy nights, a chill runs up your spine. Part of you knows that the things that creep in the night and stalk your souls take no holiday. Indeed, as members of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Horror Writer’s Association are here to remind you with twenty dark tales and four eerie poems, at this time of the year, many terrors lie just beneath the tinsel. They bring a special kind of fear that can only be found in The Winter Horror Days.
